Operating Systems (OPS)

The embedded-systems-engineering (ESE) course Operating Systems (OPS) at the HAN University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands consists of 14 two-hour lectures, where we will treat an overview of operating systems, Linux system programming, Linux kernel drivers and real-time systems, and, for full-time students, 14 two-hour lab classes, where we will practice Linux system programming (in plain C) and set up our own Arch Linux system on a Raspberry Pi. OPS is currently taught by Marc van der Sluys and Remko Welling.
